Meet the Founders
Todd & Laura Zaspel
Founders Todd and Laura Zaspel are no strangers to sustainability and fine cuisine. Laura Zaspel, President and CEO of Serendipity Catering, has a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy and Management, and previously worked for the US Department Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. Serendipity’s Founding Chef, Todd, has a degree in International Business from Mankato State University (Minnesota), and brings his love of international travel to Serendipity’s menus.
Meet the VP of Operations
Chef Austin Cueto
VP of Operations Austin Cueto studied culinary arts at Johnson & Wales University, Denver, CO. During his rigorous education in the techniques of a classical brigade kitchen, Austin trained in venues like The Sage & Onion in Santa Barbara, CA. Austin served as Executive Chef for the Kevin Taylor Restaurant Group and led the Denver Art Museum’s culinary program before becoming Executive Chef at Quality Italian in Cherry Creek. Now, he brings his extensive leadership and culinary expertise to our Denver catering company, Serendipity Catering.
